Auto Nordic was founded by George Englezos, a car mechanic for the last 24 years in Greece, Sweden and Norway. After many years of experience in car repair and great knowledge in technical matters, he has been involved in the sale of new and used cars from all over Europe and especially from Scandinavia.
It all started as a hobby, guiding and informing friends and acquaintances about the right process of finding and buying an imported car. Their satisfaction and the constant demand for something more organised prompted us to create the car import company Auto Nordic. Our goal is to offer our services and knowledge, so that the whole process can be done without fear and uncertainty, at the best prices on the market.
We rely on our extensive technical knowledge and experience in thermal, hybrid and electric cars , knowledge gained after 12 years of working in Greece and 12 years in Norway and Sweden. In these two countries the speed limits are quite low and the cars are rich in equipment, reflecting the high standard of living of their inhabitants.
The law in Scandinavia requires a strict technical inspection of the car every two years, thus keeping vehicles to high technical standards. Laws abroad also have strict rules regarding the export of used cars to the rest of Europe.
Norway, with the highest percentage of electric cars in the world, gives us the opportunity to choose the right and economical used cars in electrification. Historically, the first all-electric cars were introduced in the country in 2010 and Norway’s goal and ambition is to replace all thermal cars with electric cars by 2027. On the country’s roads, the percentage of pure electric cars is 75%, giving us the privilege of a large market with endless choices.
